About the crew
Hydrilla Hunters ATX is an Austin shoreline crew.
Owner-operated hydrilla removal for lake houses on Lake Austin. You talk to Spencer. Work stays chemical-free, fragments get bagged, and public-water jobs follow Texas permit rules.
Who we are
Hydrilla Hunters ATX is a local crew built around one job: clear hydrilla and other lake weeds from the water in front of your house without chemicals, without barges chewing up the bulkhead, and without leaving cuttings to root down the cove.
Spencer is the person on the quote, the phone, and the follow-up. Call or text (254) 312-1113 or email Hydrillahunters@gmail.com.
How we work
- Manual shoreline cleanup around docks, swim areas, and boat lifts.
- Every fragment bagged and hauled away — not piled on the lawn, not left floating.
- Optional lake blankets on cleared bottom where you need lasting access.
- One-time cleanups or season return visits through Austin’s growing season.
- TPWD-aligned methods on public water, including Lake Austin.
What we will not do
We do not dump herbicides in a family swim lane. We do not run heavy machinery against your dock wiring, lift, or lake pump. We do not treat public water without the permit path Texas requires. If a job is a poor fit — a lake-wide carp program, a private pond that only needs a rake, a site we cannot access safely — we will say so.
Where we work
Austin-area lake houses on Lake Austin — Steiner Ranch, Westlake, West Lake Hills, Tarrytown, Rollingwood, Emma Long, Red Bud Isle, and nearby shorelines.
Your shoreline will look better — or we will make it right. That is the standard we give lake-house owners before we start.
